New Happy Gathering

We ordered the Chicken Lowmein, the House Fried Rice, and some Pork Buns. The pork bun was succulent and very tasty and freshly made. The fried rice wasn't the best I've had: It tasted slightly overcooked and was disappointing considering how amazing the Lowmein was.

The Lowmein was the best I've had in New York, hands down! From the golden brown look of the noodles with the colorful vegetables mixed inside it to the flavorful taste, it was a nice Chinese food experience. I'll definitely be reordering the Lowmein.

The delivery was longer than expected but I'll give 'em a pass since it was a rainy Sunday and was no doubt extra busy. All around though, I had a great experience with this restaurant and I do recommend it.

Dont listen to half of these reviews! As someone who has lived in Manhattan for the last 14 years and who orders out 300+ times a year. Hands down is this place great! Everything I ate was good! The chicken is white meat crispy and no weird tastes like many other places. The fried dumplings were also very good and there take on bon bons were delicious. The only thing I will say is that the cold sesame noodles could use some more flavor maybe a little more peanut sauce. This has been a great find! Thank you! Order you wont regret it

The best fast food Chinese in Astoria for me! I've been in the area for three years and this will now be my go to. They followed all my specific comment requests, the food came still very hot, crispy, and most importantly fresh! Delivery was fast and delicious! Ordered crispy plantains, sesame chicken, and beef pad Thai. Really good!

The food was very good. The chicken broccoli was very good and yummy. The egg roll was delicious and tasty. The delivery was very fast and was quick. They got here in 20 minutes. All the food was yummy and fresh to eat. Go and try eating some of the food and you will like it so much.

I order chicken and broccil with pork fried rice,cheese wonton,general tso's chicken with white rice,and a pint of wonton soup. They were all tasty and cheap! Best food in astoria that I've taste so far! I give Happy Gathering five[5] stars.

I ordered the chicken with broccoli and it was superb! I love how the rice was not oily at all when compared to other places that I've ordered from. I highly recommend ordering from here and the delivery was exceptionally fast as well! I will definitely order from here again!

I don't order in Chinese food a lot anymore as I'm usually disappointed.
Happy to say this was a completely different experience. The delivery was fast, the food hot and not overly greasy. The wonton soup is a bit boring but the pork dumplings made up for it.

Really nice people, called to let us know they were unable to fulfill the order exactly as we requested,
and to get the ok on the substitutions. Food was good, I look forward to ordering again when they have exactly what we want in stock!

I'm totally addicted to their shrimp with garlic sauce and their veggie Lo me in has an ample variety of veggies-- not just cabbage and celery-- which I really like.

I could eat this every day.

Just recently moved to the area and a lot of the takeout restaurants have been disappointing. This is the first place to get my order right, on time, and still piping hot. And it was delicious. My go to Chinese from now on.
